The Australian College of Kuwait seeks successful and experienced engineering faculty members at different ranking levels starting as early as February 2014, to join the School of Engineering programmes, which provide degrees in several engineering majors.

Essential Qualifications and Experience (Assistant Professor and Lecturer Ranks):
- Ph.D. in the area of specialization from an internationally recognized university-,

Requirements:
Ideally, you'll have minimum 2 years post graduate work experience OR 4 years Sales & Marketing experience, coupled with excellent communications skills, written & oral proficiency in English and Arabic with relevant college qualifications.

Main Duties:
1.       To achieve daily targeted level of telemarketing calls. (20 telephone calls per day is the minimum standard)

8.    Responsible for all accounts under their management, including contracting, updating profile
9.    To ensure the hotels' rate structure is adhered to at all times.
10.    To conduct site inspections as required for clients as per HIK procedures.
11.    To attend sales briefing with update on sales call schedule for the day and highlights on previous day sales calls.
12.    To prepare weekly sales call schedule outlining calls by day, with name of company to be called on and person of contact with time and position within company. 
13.    Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation
14.    Take moral and legal responsibility for conducting themselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk
15.    Read, understand, and implement the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
16.    Sign the Employees' Declaration having read and understood the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
17.    Not promote or participate in horseplay, pranks, or practical jokes, which may result in an accident or injury

Under the general direction and supervision of the Front Office Manager, the Lobby Ambassador is responsible

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
    Welcoming guests in proper InterContinental standards
    Responsible for responding to a wide range of requests by hotel guests for local and overseas commercial transactions and communications
    Promotes inter hotels sales and in house facilities, be familiar with any on going event in the hotel
    Attends training sessions, departmental meetings and daily briefing as required by management.
    Maintains appropriate standard conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance, posture and wears the name tags at all times.
    Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
    Handles room
    blocking for the VIP arrivals bases on their preferences.
    Prepares the
    VIP’s registration form, welcome booklets, vingcard keys, airline
    reconfirmation forms, temporary ID and other inserts necessary.

    by flight time                            
    Reservations-Guest
    Recognition Form-

    Inspects the
    rooms and ensures that all room amenities are placed inside the rooms prior to

engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
