Responsibilities
1. Disseminates information to prospective students about GUST admission requirements and registration on time

8. Helps in the development of marketing campaigns to attract prospective students
9. Conducts counseling sessions and orientation for prospective students on and off campus

11. Organizes and evaluate submitted applications in line with policy on criteria for eligibility
12. Develops & implements orientation programs for Freshman students, providing academic & social pre-advisement & course advisement



Senior MBA Program Officer - Gulf University / GUST
The Senior MBA Program Officer provides support and services to current students, as well as to staff, faculty and alumni of the MBA Program.

Responsibilities :
1. Respond to daily inquiries from current students, faculty, and other regarding program requirements and requests for assistance.
2. Coordinate facility needs.
3. Assist in administration of registration processes as needed.
4. Assist in maintenance of MBA web pages.
5. Run statistical reports.
6. Develops and maintains marketing materials for all MBA programs.
7. Attends and participates in area career fairs.
8. Organize MBA orientation sessions.
9. Assists with the completion of graduation forms as needed.
10. Counsels MBA students regarding academic and personal issues as needed.
11. Contacts MBA students experiencing academic difficulty.
12. Serves as contact person for prospective MBA students.
13. Provides graduate information sessions at local four-year colleges for students interested in MBA studies.
14. Collects information from Committees, the faculty and the administrators to coordinate yearly Graduate Catalog updates.
15. Conduct graduate student exit interviews.
16. Assist with interpretation and implementation of graduate policies, regulations and requirements as well as evaluation/monitoring of student progress and fulfillment of degree requirements.
17. Assist in the creation and management of the long-term marketing plans.


Disability Services Coordinator - Gulf University / GUST
The Disability Services Coordinator is responsible for providing and coordinating services to students with physical and/or learning disabilities in the areas of academic and educational guidance and counseling. The Coordinator serves as an academic advisor to general studies students, participates in student advising and registration, serves as the resource person at the University for students with physical and/or learning disabilities and works with faculty and staff.

Area of Retention Services
o Coordinates and provides services to students with physical and/or learning disabilities in the areas of academic advising and support to help students achieve their educational goals
o Maintains confidential files regarding students’ disabilities and serves as a facilitator of information for faculty
o Works with faculty, staff and university offices to provide coordinated academic support services to all students in particular physically and/or learning disabled students
o Participates in all registration/pre-registration activities
o Participates in orientation/early registration activities for new students
o Maintains and accurately documents required student records and manages student files for monitoring and referral purposes
o Coordinates and supervises disability services data collection for the Director of the Student Success Center
o Promotes awareness of University services for the physically and/or learning disabled throughout the University community (students, faculty, staff, and administration)
o Assists all students, particularly students with physical and/or learning disabilities, in making a smooth transition to the University and in maintaining a successful University experience
o Designs, provides, and monitors academic support programs that address the special characteristics, background and experience of physically and/or learning disabled students to increase graduation and retention rates
o Assists prospective students who have been referred by the University staff, secondary school officials or local resources
o Coordinates with the Lead Learning Specialist to ensure that tutoring service needs for referred students are being met
o Plans and implements seminars/workshops to enhance student academic development
o Attends professional development activities and conferences related to student and academic development
o Other duties as assigned by the Director of the Student Success Center


Stewarding Shift Leader - Al Manshar Rotana
You should preferably have a diploma or degree in hospitality with previous experiences in a similar role. Good written and spoken English communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials.

As a Stewarding Shift Leader you are responsible to ensure the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipments, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees
Supervise the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis
Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, as well as the quality level of product and services
Ensure that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery
Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned
Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure the proper receiving upon return
Participate in the monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll related documents, prior to their submission to the Department Head
Attend all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to ensure open communication flow amongst the team
Assure that the emergency exits are always in clean condition and absolutely free of any obstacle and the exit door is easy to open from inside
