Job Description:As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible to check all invoices with purchase orders, and in compliance with all policies, whereby his role will include key responsibilities such as:

• To ensure that all suppliers and other payments are processed correctly on a timely basis.
• Check arithmetical accuracy, date, quality and receive stamp approval on the invoices with LPO or agreement
• Follow up any discrepancies with the suppliers in writing
• Check and tally posted invoices with invoices totals and maintain proper filling as required, in respect of all supplier accounts
• Complete monthly supplier payment run as per hotel policy
• Ensure that all payments are backed up with original invoices, approved purchase orders and receiving report
• Reconcile suppliers’ Statement of Account against Payment on monthly basis
• To control advance payment to suppliers
• Ensure that other internal expense reports are approved by the Director of Finance / Finance Manager and the General Manager
• Ensure payment of internal expense reports are with relevant approval e.g. salary, reimbursement of visa expenses, cash advance, loan, leave settlement, final settlement, etc.
• Maintain up to date filing system for the payment voucher as per bank cheque sequence number
• Handle all queries from internal & external customers
• Ensure that all cheques to be locked and cheques should be endorsed

To meet the deadlines set up by the department and policy and procedure related to AP section

Criteria & skills:
Qualification – Graduate in Finance.
Minimum of two years experience in this role.
Previous hotel experience will be added advantage.

Role Purpose

• Excellent experience in J2EE, Java Webservices, SOA,OSB,Oracle DB, and application development
• Good experience with WebLogic Server Administration .
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
• Excellent command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage.
