Provide an area that is conducive to play.
Prepare playroom and departments each morning to ensure a caring and safe environment.
Assess play and development needs of individual children.
Provide toys and equipment appropriate to needs of each child.
Encourage parents to be involved in play with their child.
Ensure that children confined to bed are offered suitable toys.
Work with CLS to plan specific daily activities and prepare projects.
Safety and Maintenance of Equipment.
Keep a record of all patients and their conditions.
Check with CLS & nursing staff to ensure that no children with infectious conditions use the playroom.
Ensure toys and equipment are cleaned and sterilised daily.
Arrange for any broken toys and furniture to be repaired.
Keep record of all toys taken from playroom and ensure their return.
Ensure no food or drink is given in playroom.
Co-ordinate and Supervise Play Assistants and Volunteers.
Observe their interactions with patients and staff and report any problems.
If appropriate encourage them to work with specific children or those confined to bed.
Co-operate with Allied Health Professionals.
Maintain good working relationships with all staff in your areas.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times and report any problems to Co-ordinator.
Discourage medical and nursing staff from performing any treatment in the playroom that will distress the child.
Ongoing Professional Development.
Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings as well as lectures (developmental studies) and workshops given by internal and external lecturers – which may be after working hours.
Make regular use of KACCH book and video library.

ROLE :
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling CH products through the achievement of opportunity-based clients; she / he will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts sales presentations per week by physical visits to customer locations
