Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the current business processes of the Company. Identify procedures which can be further automated to reduce repetitive manual processing.

Overseeing the roll out of such plan at the best possible technical solution and most reasonable cost.
Carry out periodic risk assessment of the IT unit and systems and agree on appropriate mitigation strategies.
Lead the IT unit on strategic sourcing and selection of software and solutions that best fit the business practices of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications: Masters in Computer Engineering or Software Development. Professional qualification in the field of Finance & Banking is advantageous.

Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a managerial capacity specialized in Information Technology, preferably in the Financial Services Industry of which at least 5-10 years in Kuwait. Hands on knowledge of the practices followed in the financial institutions from a functional, technology (Software, Hardware and Network), compliance and 
security perspectives. Experience in leading multi speciality teams, vendor management, and project/program management in a complex environment. Experience in procurement of software, hardware, network and infrastructure and setting up/ running a data center. Experience in writing RFP, RFQ and evaluating proposals.

Candidates to have fluency in English, as also are comfortable working in a fully computerized environment. Kuwaiti Nationals will be preferred.

Experience
Must be a qualified Masters in Law from Kuwait or Egypt or other Arabic country with similar Law proceedings as Kuwait.
At least 15 years of experience in Legal, preferably in the Financial Services Industry of which at least 5 years in Kuwait.
Hands on knowledge of the Legal and Regulatory practices followed in the financial institutions
Fluency in English and Arabic. Ability to draft Legal Agreements.

Candidates to have fluency in English, as also are comfortable working in a fully computerized environment. Kuwaiti Nationals will be preferred.
