Associate Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, for the Academic year 2013/2014. The faculty seeks expertise in the following areas:
Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecological Oncology, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine and Adolescent and Pediatric Gynecology.
The post of Professor in Reproductive Medicine/Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The following minimum qualifications are required:
Interested applicants for the post of Associate Professors should have the MRCOG or FRCOG (UK) or North American Board (FACOG or FRCS (Canada). They should also have sub-specialty certificate/fellowship in their fields of sub-specialization. MD/MSc/MEd/PhD will be an added advantage.
Applicants should have adequate clinical, teaching and research experience of at least 5 years post-specialty certification for the posts of Associate Professor. A good research background and output in the subspecialty area of individual interest is essential.
Interested applicants for the post of Professor should have a PhD from UK or North America (USA/Canada) in the fields outlined above. a solid foundation/training/qualification in Molecular Biology is an essential pre-requisite.
The candidates should have adequate teaching and research experience of at least 12 years post qualification. A good research output is essential.
Training/Expertise/Qualification in Medical Education will be additional advantage for applicants for Associate Professor/professor.
The applicant should be of an amiable character who should be able to work with others in the team.
