Our client is seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing Accounts Department. 
Responsibilities within the role include:
will assist with the accurate and timely completion of on-going accounting activities across the company, ensuring that the Finance Department is effective and functional.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Create and maintain supplier/customer data related to accounting and finance activities. 
• Follow up and process supplier/customer vouchers/invoices for payments/collections and credit/debit notes.
• Process employee and supplier/customer advance payments and ensure the matching of payments with related transactions.
• Monitor Accounts Payables report on a regular interval to identify payments to be made. 
• Monitor Accounts Receivables report on a regular interval to identify collections.
• Ensure the posting of sub-ledger imports to general ledger and perform month end activities and prepare
• Financial reports/statements.
• Ensure that the different types of payments/collections are made accurately and entered in the system and
• Review credit transaction and calculation scheme, update and communicate scheme if required.
• Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
• Conduct bank/cash reconciliations and ensure the consistency of physical data and data in the system.
• Create and maintain a complete list of fixed asset information including updated information of classification and transfers.
• Conduct revaluation activities of fixed assets upon requests.
• Review payroll activities of HR Department for calculating the remuneration with related payments and deductions for work done for each employee and ensure the accuracy of payroll.
• Provide assistance where necessary to Finance Manager, as required.
• Filing & Archiving
Skills
• Education: Bachelor degree of Commerce or equivalent with accounting as major.
• Knowledge of MS office.
• Experience: Two to Three years.
• Language: Read, write and speak English is a must.
