The Role:
The Kuwaiti Danish Dairy Company (KDDC) is one of the leading producers of quality food products in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries. A new position as LEAN Manager has arisen in the company’s manufacturing facilities in Kuwait. Reporting to the General Manager Manufacturing the new LEAN Manager is responsible for development, execution and management of a LEAN master plan.
Among others the work tasks will include:
· Planning and implementation of a LEAN strategy to meet business objectives, including LEAN principles, techniques and methodologies
· Provision of necessary inputs and targets to the EPM/BI system to enhance the efficiency and for process optimization
· Development and implementation of LEAN related training
· Coaching of other managers and employees in executing LEAN related projects
· Creation of reports on the effectiveness and development of the KDD LEAN program
· Follow-up meetings with LEAN coordinators within the other departments
Qualifications:
The successful applicant for the post will have:
· at least 5 years of relevant experience in performing similar tasks, preferably obtained within the food manufacturing / processing industry
· a relevant education at least at Bachelor degree level in the relevant domain and
· a LEAN education

Reporting to the General Manager Manufacturing the new LEAN Manager is responsible for development, execution and management of a LEAN master plan.
Among others the work tasks will include:
· Planning and implementation of a LEAN strategy to meet business objectives, including LEAN principles, techniques and methodologies
· Provision of necessary inputs and targets to the EPM/BI system to enhance the efficiency and for process optimization
· Development and implementation of LEAN related training
· Coaching of other managers and employees in executing LEAN related projects
· Creation of reports on the effectiveness and development of the KDD LEAN program

Qualifications:

Written and spoken English at a high level is a requirement as well as proficiency in IT tools (MS Office and other relevant IT tools) is essential.
